When are you reopening?

We opened again on the 26th April 2021. This included our bar, restaurant, terrace and bedrooms.

Are you taking bookings in advance?

Yes, our online booking portals are open and booking is advised to ensure social distancing, however we will also do our best to accommodate walk in guests also.




Is there a new policy for overnight stays?

Yes. Full payment is now required at the time of booking. Rates include VAT. You can cancel up until 2pm the day prior to arrival for a full refund.

Is there a limit to the number of people who can dine at one table?

The maximum number of people who can meet socially indoors is 6 which can be from up to 3 separate households.  We will continue to follow Scottish Government guidelines and will increase these numbers when we are allowed to do so.

Can I reserve a table outdoors?

Our terrace area is also open from 26th April 2021. This area cannot be pre-booked, and will operate on a first come, first serve basis. Alcohol is permitted outside, until 10pm.

What are the Covid-19 measures you have put in place?

A covid-19 risk assessment has been carried out and actioned. All staff will be provided with PPE and training on covid-19 awareness. There will be an enhanced frequency of cleaning and sanitising through the hotel, bar and restaurant. Additional hand sanitising stations will be placed around the hotel, bar and restaurant and disinfectant wipes are available upon request to all guests at reception.

We have introduced a 1 way system, entering through the main hotel entrance and leaving through the restaurant door. We have reduced our number of covers within the restaurant to allow for social distancing. We have also implemented a one person at a time rule for the toilets.

Are there changes to how I order and pay?

Table service only. Contactless payment will be encouraged but all other methods of payment will be accepted also.
